About The Book

Book One | The Bedrock Series

In this dark and compulsive debut somewhere along the lines of Fatal Attraction meets Unfaithful comes a thrilling, addictively suspenseful, and haunting story that grabs the reader, and holds them captive until the very end. For fans of psychological thrillers, suspense, and the forbidden, Bedrock hands us a deceptively beautiful tale.

Addison Greyer knows better. Or at least she should.

Never in a million years would she have guessed she’d wind up agreeing to the sinister side-gig her tough-as-nails new boss proposes.

Until she does.

Turns out, one bad decision often leads to another.

He’s troubled. She’s married.

It’s a dangerous game, for sure—one in which she stands to lose the most. Soon, she learns desire is not only dangerous but deadly and there’s a price to be paid for her mistakes.

A pound of flesh.

Never in a million years would she have guessed how far her picturesque little suburban life would unravel.

Until it does.

She should have known better. Too bad she didn’t.

The Cornwalls Are Gone

I am reading my very 1st book by James Patterson, The Chef and I am LOVING it!!! So today I found this book and I can't wait to read it...........

Intelligence officer Amy Cornwall knows too much, way too much.

In her career as an Army intelligence officer, Amy Cornwall has seen haunting sights half a world away. None compare to the chilling scene at her Virginia home. It is empty.

A phone rings with a terrifying ultimatum: locate and liberate an unnamed captive in forty-eight hours, or her kidnapped husband and ten-year-old daughter are dead.

Now, and in open defiance of Army Command, Amy must employ every lethal tactic she has to save them. To succeed, she must discover not only who dispatched her on this mission, but why. Without her family, she's dead anyway.

Shooting Script & Call Me Irresistible

I donated a lot of books at my thrift store and walked out with 2 new ones for $2 each. Here is what I got.

Question: Have any of y'all read them?

R.S.V.P. to the most riotous wedding of the year....

Lucy Jorik is the daughter of a former president of the United States.

Meg Koranda is the offspring of legends.

One of them is about to marry Mr. Irresistible—Ted Beaudine—the favorite son of Wynette, Texas. The other is not happy about it and is determined to save her friend from a mess of heartache.

But even though Meg knows that breaking up her best friend's wedding is the right thing to do, no one else seems to agree. Faster than Lucy can say "I don't", Meg becomes the most hated woman in town—a town she's stuck in with a dead car, an empty wallet, and a very angry bridegroom.

Broke, stranded, and without her famous parents at her back, Meg is sure she can survive on her own wits. What's the worst that can happen? Lose her heart to the one and only Mr. Irresistible? Not likely. Not likely at all.

Poor Sonya Iverson! TV journalism looks exciting from the outside, but it can be deadly dull, even in a glamorous, high-end Hawaiian spa. Why is Sonya doing a "puff piece" about the spa? Because it's owned by Errol Swanson, former head of Sonya's network, and his young, pregnant third wife.

Lara Swanson seems to be filled with the milk of human kindness. She's invited Errol's first two wives and surviving children to the spa opening, wanting to heal Errol's troubled family. It is an impossible task. Errol torments his exes financially, publicly rejects his homosexual son, and reviles his emotionally-handicapped daughter.

Sonya can't understand what Lara sees in him. Perhaps the youngest Mrs. Swanson has a few skeletons in her own closet, secrets that Errol uses to hold her close?

Evidence of kinky sex is found alongside Errol's corpse--murdered in the bed he and Lara shared. Thanks to her TV interviews, Sonya is several steps ahead of the official police investigation. She's determined to be the first to find out who killed the mogul . . . and to get her scoop on the air.

Book Review: Jar of Hearts

I LOVED this book. I didn't write a review for it. It did keep me turning pages!!!

Down below is what the book is about!!

I gave this book a 5\5

This is the story of three best friends: one who was murdered, one who went to prison, and one who's been searching for the truth all these years . . .

When she was sixteen years old, Angela Wong—one of the most popular girls in school—disappeared without a trace. Nobody ever suspected that her best friend, Georgina Shaw, now an executive and rising star at her Seattle pharmaceutical company, was involved in any way. Certainly not Kaiser Brody, who was close with both girls back in high school.

But fourteen years later, Angela Wong's remains are discovered in the woods near Geo's childhood home. And Kaiser—now a detective with Seattle PD—finally learns the truth: Angela was a victim of Calvin James. The same Calvin James who murdered at least three other women.

To the authorities, Calvin is a serial killer. But to Geo, he's something else entirely. Back in high school, Calvin was Geo's first love. Turbulent and often volatile, their relationship bordered on obsession from the moment they met right up until the night Angela was killed.

For fourteen years, Geo knew what happened to Angela and told no one. For fourteen years, she carried the secret of Angela's death until Geo was arrested and sent to prison.

While everyone thinks they finally know the truth, there are dark secrets buried deep. And what happened that fateful night is more complex and more chilling than anyone really knows. Now the obsessive past catches up with the deadly present when new bodies begin to turn up, killed in the exact same manner as Angela Wong.

How far will someone go to bury her secrets and hide her grief? How long can you get away with a lie? How long can you live with it?

Book Review & DNF: Maid

At 1st I was loving it, but I couldn’t finish it. Don’t get me wrong, I love how she was trying to do what’s best for her daughter. However, I didn’t love her sharing private info about her clients. I felt like she made really bad choices, and while no one deserves to live in poverty, she made choices that didn’t help her. I really wanted to finish it, but I couldn’t
